Quilters Rounded Sewing Clapper * Solid Hardwood MICHIGAN MADE

USD25.00

Tailor's clappers have been a long time staple in my sewing studio, but my husband has taken this project to another level. I make slippers & welding caps, and they both have lots of round edges that you want to press that way. Keep your fingers out of the way and get a finished round edge that will stay in place. Use the handle to hold it up and give it some good steam. Save your fingers, and level up your sewing!

The Hardwood used is midwest grown (mostly in Michigan but some local states as well).

Milled in Michigan

Made by my husband in..... you guessed it. Michigan!

Hand cut, rounded and sanded to smooth. No finish is ever used on clappers because you don't want that on your fabric. You want that wood to do what it is supposed to.... absorb heat and moisture while setting a good tight seam.

The clapper you receive is the ACTUAL ITEM pictured above.

Hardwood used here is MAPLE.

Silver handle has been upcycled.
